Hello Fit In Clouds readers! Today I am so excited to be sharing my summer must-haves with you. I am absolutely obsessed with Fit In Clouds flats, and I think they’re perfect for many occasions, my favorite being summer date night. Summer is all about being comfortable, so my first instinct is to throw on comfy, chic flats rather than some sky-high wedges or stilettos. I love the idea of pairing the gold flats with a colorful shift dress and a great bag + gold accessories – this is my dream outfit for a perfect, warm weather date night! Enjoy.

spring formal ready

French Connection Electric Circus Dress // Kendra Scott Lillian Long Earrings in Turquoise // Aldo McenroePurse // Nine West Orseena Sandals // Fit in Clouds Silver Patent Flats

It’s about that time of year again for college formals. With my sorority’s spring formal coming up, I can’t help but think about dress shopping. I spotted this French Connection dress online a while ago and instantly fell in love. It would be perfect for any spring or summer party. Shoe shopping is another story though… No matter how comfortable the heels seem to be in the store, my feet are always killing me by the end of the night. These silver Fit in Clouds flats seem like the perfect solution. I would much rather carry a pair of flats in my purse for the night than end up walking around barefoot!

Have a Feminine Edge

Sometimes I wake up in the morning and I have no idea what my plans are for the day
…this makes picking out my clothes kind of hard.

On one hand I’m constantly on the go, so I like to be comfortable and ready for anything. At the same time, it’s important for me to be put together and feel good about the way I look. This outfit is ideal because the flowy-but-fitted dress, structured purse, and comfortable flats can take me anywhere my little heart desires, while my jean jacket and neutral sunglasses keep me looking casual – maybe even a bit edgy! And how ’bout the cute little details like this arrow ring and the heart print phone case?

Headed to the city this weekend for an adventure that may carry over from day to night? Pack your bag- like this Vince Camuto Wow Tote- accordingly! Skinny jeans, a white ruched cropped top, and a faux leather biker jacket easily transition from daytime to evening time. Wear your tan retro Fit in Clouds rollable flats and carry your Steve Madden ankle boots in your tote then switch before heading to dinner or the bar. When it gets dark, pop your Tod’s sunglasses into your bag- unless you like to wear your sunglasses at night!

saturday in the city

This set was created by Polyvore user Andra Andrus on behalf of Fit in Clouds.

How do you transition from day to night when you’re out in the city?

Does anything say stylish quite like the classic combination of white and black? We didn’t think so. Which is why we’re proud to introduce our new black and white checkered espadrille foldable flats.

And in case you’re looking for even more black and white style inspiration, here you have it: a checkered leather belt, a Kate Spade checkered clutch, a pricey but adorable Kate Spade coat, a striped clutch, lace-up heeled saddle shoes, a kaleidoscope scarf, black and white earrings with a touch of gold, a striped 3/4 length t-shirt, and directly in the center: our checkered espadrille flats.

Black and White and Cute All Over

What is your favorite black and white item in your wardrobe?

spring time glam adored by alex

Outfit one: Equipment blouse // J.Crew denim // Fit In Clouds flats // Rebecca Minkoff bag // Gorjana ring // Tory Burch earrings

Outfit two: Calypso St. Barth maxi dress // Fit In Clouds flats // Rachel Zoe hat // Botkier clutch // Ray Ban aviators // Kate Spade earrings

Two outfits, two pairs of Fit In Clouds flats. Of course spring harkens warmer temps and the ability to ditch the layers and dress with ease and comfort, but truly my favorite thing is the return of color! Not only do Fit in Clouds flats make it simple for me to run errands and lunch with friends without the worry of sore feet, but they also are easily paired with neutrals and pops of color whatever the occasion! xx

Fit In Clouds - Spring Fever

Another bout of cold weather really has me wishing for warmer temperatures, sunny days, and umbrella drinks {think #ihatewinter}, but until then dressing up in bright colors and floral prints will bring me out of these winter blues. I can easily transition this outfit from desk to date night with these Fit in Clouds flats!

Several weeks ago, we decided to begin a blog series on how to wear red shoes. One of our readers was looking for answers to this question and at Fit in Clouds, we always deliver!

This week: How to wear red shoes, neutral style

If you’re not quite ready to mix and match colorful shades and patterns, an otherwise neutral look might the best pairing for your red shoes. Just pair dark wash skinny jeans (H&M has affordable options), a camel colored handbag, a white button down shirt, a multi-layered red beaded necklace, and red flats for a look that’s fun and incorporates a pop or two of color without looking too over-the-top.

Fashion week may be over but Paris is never out of style.  Look the part while visiting the City of Light without ever sacrificing your comfort.  Prevent blisters and achy feet with stylist Fit in Clouds flats.  Zoom around the city on the Métro with a carnet de billets {10 pack of tickets} and be sure to study the map before you get there.  Wander through the streets of St Germain de Près where you will find the most luxurious arrondissement of Paris with the least amount of tourists.  Be sure to do some shopping at Le Bon Marché, have a Croque Monsieur at Café de Flore and treat yourself to the famous macaroons at Ladurée.  Bonnes Vacances!
