fit in clouds weekly roundup

Every Friday, we feature a weekly roundup of interesting articles, posts, DIY tutorials, and more from across the web. This week, we’re featuring everything from wedding tips to a DIY scarf project to throwback style!

Planning a spring wedding? We adore this paper bouquet made from a map. Bonus: use a map of where you met, where he proposed, or where you’ll be tying the knot.

Are you attending a wedding instead of starring in it? Here’s what to wear to a wedding when you’re not the bride.

And speaking of weddings, get creative with alternatives to the traditional guestbook. Some of our favorites from the list: a wishing tree, postcards put into a mailbox, a tree made of fingerprints from guests, a photobooth with a chalkboard to write well-wishes, and more.

If you’re feeling crafty, try this easy DIY infinity scarf from The DIY Dish.

This article might be where to go and what to wear in 2012, but we think places like Canyon Point, Utah, Graubünden, Switzerland, and Las Alcobas, Mexico City, Mexico never go out of style.

Nothing says calming quite like earthy green hues. We feel more zen just looking at Creature Comfort’s inspiration daily post!

You know we love the 50s but did you know we’re fans of 70s style too? We’re loving Martha Wills’ Throwback Thursday post featuring striped tees, wide-legged jeans, and cross body purses.

Fun, spunky wedges? Yes please! We’ll take the multi-colored Jeffrey Campbell wedges (below) and the brown leather Kenneth Cole ones too!

A while back, we received an email from the editor at Brides Magazine. They said there were doing a newBrides magazine wedding flats feature on portable flat and would like to ‘road test’ what is in the market and then report on the best four brands.  The others would not be mentioned. So we sent in our samples and crossed our fingers!

About two months later, we received notification that Fit In Clouds were selected as the most comfortable and will be featured in the Brides magazine in the March issue. We could not be more thrilled! We always strive to provide the most comfortable portable flats  and with this validation from Brides, it had made us even more determined to make the most comfortable and stylish portable flats ever!

In addition, some of you might remember that Fit In Clouds were also mentioned in the Martha Stewart wedding blog as perfect gift for bridesmaids. With its sturdy support and wide ranges, it is no wonder that hundreds of brides select Fit In Clouds as the wedding portable flats of choice for their wedding party! Infact, here is one bride that went a step further and customized that portable ballets flats for her entire wedding party!
